The Amenduni Nicola Spa has sponsored the olive oil training course that took place in San Juan, Argentina last 3th, 4th, 5th March 2010.
The course was divided into two sessions: the teory and the practice.
The theorical session covered subjects such as:
· the olive oil world market situation;
· agronomical aspects impacting on the processing operations;
· description of the various phases of the olive oil processing;
· oil storage;
· use of processing aids;
· Processing costs.
The object session was carried out in an important Amenduni plant, the Argenceres S.A. The participants had the opportunity to experience on the spot the complete olive oil processing course till the final oil extraction.
The course was leaded by expert technicians having university experience and specific experience in this field both in Argentina and Australia.
About 150 people partecipated, engineers, agronomists and olive growers; this training course has turned out very interesting for both experienced people and people approaching to the rich world of olive oil.
